Would someone be willing to either tell me the history of the Case 300 series agriculture tractors (most intersted in 311) or tell me of a reference (book or website) where I can learn about the numbering?

I have a 311 and want to buy manuals for it, but there are manuals with letters behind model numbers, so I am at a loss as what to buy. I see 300, 301, 310, 311, 312, 320, 350 ...

Thanks very much. What does the "B" after 311 mean? If I buy an operator's manual for a 311B will I get what I need? My 311 has a WFE and is round-nosed.

The 311B is a later model than the 311 round nose. Many things the same. Like getting a Ford 1959 book for a 1957 Ford. Look for a 311. Many service manuals cover both.

300 diesel utility 10-24 tires
301 diesel tricycle 10-28 tires
302 diesel high-clearance

310 gasoline utility
311 gasoline tricycle
312 gasoline high-clearance

350 series - a slighty different cat with I think a slightly bigger engine. The one I know of has a slightly taller wide front end and stands taller. 350 gas utility 10-28 tires 351 gas tricycle 11.2-36 tires

Do not mix the 300 series (round nose) with the 310B (later square nose) tractors.

Triycles models can have any front end like my 311 with WFE.

There is all so a G310g crawlwr and a 320 crawler. The Case forum will be glad to give you more info. Kenny
