In good working condition. I did a search on google and found implement dealers asking around $1500 for them. Seems kind of high to me, I was thinking around $500 would be fair. What do you think?

Does anyone also know how to find out when a certain 24T was made?

My dad bought one in 1964 with a thrower. We took the thrower off many years ago because the labor force was petering out and it was easier to stand on a hay rack and put the bales in the elevator rather than pull them apart in the load. I still use this baler and it works perfectly and never misses a bale, and makes a good square bale, none of this sloppy oval shaped bales like some of the older makes made.

I bought one for 200 at and auction and put 650 into it, for a total of 850. But it works great and never misses.

Bought one 2 yrs ago in N. Tx for $700. Great price considering the next thing up was 300 series JD and $3500.

Prev. owner knew what a grease gun was and how to use it. Had a shed too and knew that the baler belonged in it.

Great machine and have done nothing (lube) but bale. Only problem is rats eat the strings. Otherwise I prefer strings (you can see) vs wire.

OOPs I lied. Put $50 worth of brake shoes on the tie stop this year to stop it from snapping shear pins.
