Where do you all get the air dryer for your air hoses? It is the thing that you put on the air hose to keep the water out. Thanks

Harbor Freight has a dual case. It was on sale for $19.95 when I got mine. I think it's usually $29.95

If I paint every day it needs cleaned every night. I have a 30 gallon tank and our weather usually runs 90% to 100% humidity so I don't think that's too bad.

Most industrial supply houses carry them.

A refrigerated air dryer is rather pricy. There is a cheaper way to remove most of the air. First install a 1/4 turn ballvalve at compressor(usually a 3/4") Then come off of your valve with a flexible hose. Connect hose into a "T". Install a short nipple out of the bottem of the "T" with a drain. Run pipe out of the top to your quick connects. At each outlet install a "T" with a nipple & drain at bottom of "T". Istall your quick connect in the top. By running your air lies up & over to the locations of connectors it makes it harder for the condensation to get to the outlets. Always install a drip leg at low points and keep them drained. Also install a valve in the bottom of your tank to drain water. This can be an automatic drain or a manual ball valve. When you want to paint or sandblast (most important to have dry air) install a small air dryer fitting on your paint gun or sand-pot. Theese are availible at most tool stores. You can install your pressure regulator at the compressor or at each outlet. If you get an auto tool oiler make sure you don't use that port for painting or sandblasting. Hope this helps, Stu.

I forgot to mention that copper pipe is the best to use for your air lines. Just get the heavy wall, it will never rust or flake like galvanized & you wont have any cutting oil in lines to contamine your painting projects. A good solder is all you need. If you choose you can silver solder the lines, but you should purge the lines with nitrogen will you braze. Stu.
