We use the high speed lead poisoning on occasion. Without running afoul of any of the local game laws, of course, look around for sub-sonic ammo, works great for pest control in populated areas. If the bullet doesn't go supersonic, it is very quiet; just the sound of the action working and the brass hitting the floor!

Use the ribbon electric fence wire it works good as they see the ribbon and get bit and they will stay away. It works here in eastern IOWA so it will work.

Any of the lead based pesticides should do. In our area of North Dakota we are overrun by deer, they do a tremendous amount of crop damage.
The only ones that like them are body shop operators. Had a story in the local paper about one who said 80% of his business is repairing crash damage from hitting deer.

The eat the plants around the foundation of my house. They also leave droppings which the dogs love. We keep them out of the garden with a six-strand electrified fence and 5KV fencer.
