Hello,

I'm foreigner and i wanted to see a Farm Show, here in USA during July or August.
Actually, i wanna see combines and tractor in activity during the harvest gathering, it will be so great for me. Otherwise, to see a exposition with all brands of combines and tractor. But not a country fair with country products or cows, pigs, ... Mainly a fair with combine and tractors.

I didn't find any website talking about all farm show i'd like to see, anywhere in USA. I live in Florida but i can go anywhere to see this kind of show.

Thanks in advance to help me.

Cédric

I saw that the empire farm show should be very interesting to see even if that is during the week. This hard to find pictures about this show.
Do we see new tractors and combines ? I saw the internet that it has GPS demos. Will it have field demos ?
What is the nearest airport ? I'll come from Miami. If you have any comments to say ...

Thanks.

Cédric

I think it will be a big and very interesting farm show. However, i won't be available at the end of August. I have planed to visit all California during this week. OK maybe if one show is similar to seethe biggest tracot and combine in Us, i'll take 2 days off to go there.
I leave US in september, happy to come back to France, because here i had a lot of problems, fine, toward, ... Police is not very nice here and love to give me fines :(
Maybe i plan to visit Texas, but i don't know if it's interesting to visit Ranch or Farms there and if we can visit that, perhaps it's forbidden.
Others questions, where and when is a huge show with new equipment like the farm show progress. Because there is a lot of farm show and i don't know really which one is with new combines, tractor, agriculture equipment...
In France, the biggest combine passage in the field (sorry i don't know the word) is about 9.4m (conversion in progress :P --> 30')
I heard that here it's bigger. For the word passage, i mean, when the field isn't start yet, the longuer of the first with the combine. I hope you understand what i mean. In fact the larger of the big stuff before the combine which turn and turn ;-)

Cedric you asked why most shows are during the week , so the school children can get a day off school to attend shows its been that way for years . the pennfield ill show would be one of the best bacause everybody shows up and also bring a pair of hip boots. the mud can get quite deep when they had the show in spfld ill that year i got stuck on the hiway from all the mud that got drug out on road even if it rains the show stills gets at least 1day in try it you will like it

This is strange here in US because all farm shows i saw, are during the week. You don't prefer to go out the week end ?
Then now i have 2 problems, find an interesting farm show and now during ce week end.

Farm Ag Expo July 22-24 at Michigan State University in Lansing Mi. All the major Manufacturesr will be there. Wheat Harvest will still be going in Mi so you could see machines in the field. Also do a Google search. It looks like there may be some big shows closer to you.
