o-rings

I need some 4 o-ring for the pistons in the power shift of my MF 2705. The smallest one is 9"OD X 1/8, largest 12.75"OD X 1/8. I priced them out at a Massey dealer, they want $50.00 EACH.
I can buy a kit that you make your own o-rings for a lot less than that, but, would they be good enough quality to use in that application. I don't want to have to pull the tractor apart again in a few years to replace them.
What about some jobber 0-rings! Again I worry about the quality.
Any suggestions.
Thanks, Drill

You might try a Industrial Supply such as Motion Industries. A 9" OD x 1/8" ring is -270, 12-1/4 OD x 1/8 is -278. I think most O-Rings unless otherwise specified are Buna-N, (Nitrile). The OD of rings with 1/8 cross section larger than 12-1/4 seem to jump in 1" increments. HTH

Thanks for the advice. I checked back with the dealer and he thinks he can find some jobber o-rings for about $10.00 each, which is a little better price.
