On the transmission driveshaft bearing cage (#65 in I&T manual, housing that holds the planet carrier for the TA) there is what looks to be a drain port for the bearing lube. Mine was pointing up, is this not a drain port that points down? Loren

I'm miles away from my service manuals at the moment, but FWIW, often there are oil passages in the TOP of transmission bearing holders to channel oil that has been thrown into a trough by the gears down into the a bearing.
