Ford 4000 carb problem

I have a ford 4000 3 cyl. gas. After about a 1/2 hr. of running the fuel line seems to develop a vapor lock and the carb gets starved for fuel. I have a direct fuel line with filter going to the carb. There are no restrictions in the line and the fuel flow is good. Seems like the engine heat may create a vapor lock??
Thanks

Those Holley carbs were designed to run properly with positve pressure. Install a new fuel pump and re-plumb the lines back to factory. The pumps used to be quite expensive, but NH satrted using a more generic pump with screw in elbows about 2-3 years ago, now about $50. I think part number was F2NN9350AA.

The elbow fuel line connection at the carb has a built in screen. Remove this elbow and see if it is stopped up.
