Just glanced at the Classifieds here, someone
has the five foot Case eagle from a dealership
for sale. Probably some interest in this item.
However, at $15,000.00, I'd prefer a decent
running tractor. Appraised value, where would you safely store it?

Last month at an auction in Onawa, Iowa one sold for $11,400...so don't be surprised if it sells! Here in our town, a widow of a Case mechanic still has one of these big cast iron Eagles, bolted down in front of her garage. She had better be checking the nuts on her bird!

Rather spend the money on a dead eagle, than a Deere that can't run!

Sounds like an auction at Sothbys, where useless crap is peddled off to people who have more money then brains.

Wouldn't surprise me a bit if they actually get the 15 grand. I'd rather have the money.
