While on Y.T last weekend i saw something i wanted more info on. So i e-mail the guy he replies be happy to send more info later that same day. so i waited the rest of the day , next day,and day after that. Mon. evening i get reply that says tractor sold thanks for interest. Really burns me , has anyone else had these problems the guy said in first ad I'm not a tractor man" i wrote back and told him he was right We have more honor.

When I'm selling something I give out whatever information is requested but always make it clear that the first person to write a check is the buyer, I won't hold it without a deposit.

But you're right, it is common courtesy to respond promptly.

I have had it work just the opposite, listed an item for sale, had an e-mail almost immediatly asking for more info, which I gave, and then never heard from him again. In the meantime, I had 3 more offers, and could have sold my item, but I was still waiting for the first guy. Some people just don't have any manners.
