I have a farmall H that I pull a rotary mower with. It runs fine for a while, and then sounds like it is running out of gas and kills. If I leave it for 15 minutes it will start up again. I can make another round and it will kill right in the same spot it did before, usually going up a slight hill. I have replaced the electrical parts, and cleaned the fuel system, but it still does it. Any help would be appreciated.

Check the gas cap. if the gas cap vent is plugged or not venting, the gas tank gets airbound and won't let the gas flow to the carb. Might not be it, but then again, it could be. Just another thing easy to check before digging too deep. I have seen this cause problems. After being stopped for a while, the air leaks back in and will let more gas flow out before becoming air bound again.

Could be coil or fuel take the drain plug out of the bottom of the carb You should have a good steady flow for at least 1 min. If you do than go to the coil most old time repair shops have a coil tester Good luck

I have a 51 H and this happened to me yrs ago. When you replaced the electrical parts did you replace the coil? That's what was wrong with mine, the coil heats up as the tractor works, then cuts out. One way to test this I have heard is just when it quits to dump cold water over it then see if it starts right back up again. I replaced my coil, and havent' had a problem since with it. I'd be very surprised if it was a fuel problem ---Jeff

What does it do if you choke it when it trys to die?? If chokeing it keeps it running you have a fuel/carb problem. Rebuild the carb and check the fuel flow

Hello,
It sounds like your float level is off in your carburetor. Pull the carb and set the float to specification. While its apart, check your needle & seat. This might solve your problem.

Good Luck,
Rusty
