With todays better oils , is the oil cooler needed on the 560 D with the hardest job being baleing hay ?

I had one go to leaking and I blocked it off,it ran that way for years,I can't say if it is ok or not,but mine ran that way for 10 years,when I overhauled it I brazed the pinhole in the cooler tank. I did some heavy tillage with it while it was off.

I'm with Chris. I did the same as He did. In my opinion, that isn't much of a cooler anyway. Me and my 560 never seemed to miss it!
