I wonder how I would get started freeing up an engine on a WD that has been sitting with out oil for years. As I understand it, it ran when parked. Any pointers or book ideas would help a lot. Also where is a good place to look for a new rim (adjustable) without spending a fortune? It rotted from sitting flat. The tractor is in beautiful shape though. Thanks

Eric: Go to the Allis pages. Page 2 has extensive postings on freeing up WD engines. As for the rim, I bought one, like new with center disc included, for $100. 715-673-4829. they will ship UPS.
