Before I purchase the points and condensor for my Wico series C magneto, is there a way to tell if thats the problem? I am not getting any spark any the wires look to be in good shape. Can something other than the points or condensor go bad? How can I test it?
Thanks

Well the coil is the other big thing to go bad.If you have a voltmeter that reads on a low scale you can hook the leads up to the coil in the mag(one is grounded) and spin it.You should get a bump reading on the scale of 2 to 3 volts. If you know the coil is old and not been replaced in a long time its best to change it anyway, when you get the engine running it will stress the coil and it will start to break down after a small amount of use.
