I'd feel real guilty about sending this tractor to South Africa. I met a lot of them people at the Smithsonian Folklife Festival back in '99 and I don't think it would improve their country to have this tractor in it. ";^O

Les, no I did not make it to Gray's. But I did go to R.N. Johnsons in Walpole for their 75th annual open house. Many fine old JD.s on display. Lots of H's, L's and B's on display. Some folks take this stuff mighty seriously! Jared

There was a TV special on these type of scams. They said that in oder for these to continue there typically has to be at least 3% takers for the scam offers. Anything less and they loose interest.

I received two almost identical today on an Oliver except they were automobile and other equipment dealers. Strange though I am also trying to sell (almost give-a-way) a MM U and I don't even get the scammers to want it.

You know Les, those folks sure do make it sound like the most normal thing in the world to ship an old SC half-way across the globe. Let me know when they show up to get yours, they can have mine too!

If you have such a hard time with spammers, why dont you advertise your junk somewhere else instead of using the Internet??? I dont advertise on internet and guess what? I dont get e-mails from spammers.

Yeah Les,

And if ya don't get it sold over in east Africa like you would like, then you can always sell it to me, 'cause you already know that what I buy is usually junk anyway & I just don't care!

I will be sending you a cashier's check for $5K over the purchase price; and could you please send the extra amount to my wife who is my shipper? This should save you a few bucks on overseas postal charges. :>)
