Whats the procedure for repairing a potholed stone drive(600ft) when all you have is a loader and backblade,is weight required on the backblade
is there a specific angle to the blade when scraping,,is rolling or tamping required for a proper finished product,
Thank you

One trick you can try to keep from getting potholes is to make the driveway have a little bit of a peak in the middle. Not much, just barely noticible, but it will keep water from standing on the driveway. If the water drains off quicker, you'll have less of a chance to make soft spots.

I have done this many times. I think a landscape box works best. When I used My blade, I used it straight and only angled it to move the stone to the lower spots. Some weight would help, depending on how hard packed the drive is. You will get a MUCH better job if the surface is wet. I would always pack the surface with my tires by running back and forth several times. What helps the drive more then anything, after it is finished, is to not travel in the same tracks day after day. Use the whole surface
