I am not getting any fuel from my injector pump to the injectors. I have fuel from the bottom bleader valve and have fuel from the return that goes to the filter bowl but no fuel comes out of the connections to the injectors. Some have said that it is the butterfly valve on the manual shut off. If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate you comments.

I think you will find two bleed valves on the CAV pump. Both need clearing of air, as well as having the stop control in the run position.

Hi RAB, You mention 2 bleed valves on the CAV pump. I know about the obvious one on the side of the unit. There is the overflow on the cover. The level indicated is equal to fuel in tank. I have blown and sucked on this line. Yuck. Nothing. Herb's problem describes mine perfectly. In time gone by, opening the side bleed would indicate the pressure of the pump which visible by removing the end plate. This plate accepts the fuel from filter. There is no indication of pressure from the side bleeder. I hope you can wade thru all this. Who ever designed this dude and the way it is mounted needs a cranial examination. Be happy to oblige. Thank You Philip Jensen

I do just the opposite. I put a vacuum on return line and crank. If you don't mind the taste of diesel fuel, it can be done with your mouth. I usually use a peristaltic pump with a small motor.
