I actually owned one of these a few years ago. It was powered by an 8hp Briggs and Stratton engine, and had a 30" cut (maybe less, I don't recall). It seems like there weren't many gear choices, either (forward or reverse). No blade clutch, and to adjust mowing height, you had to add/remove shims between blade and engine---- a real pain in the a$$----hard rubber tires made for a rough ride, too.
Best part about my version, was that it started easy.
I believe that there was a tag on mine that said "Continental Belton", and that it was actually made in Belton, Texas.
I gave mine away.... Honestly, if a person had a nice flat yard (like a putting green, for example), or a small yard, it would be okay, but my 1/2 acre with the dog holes was more than the little mower could handle.

I really don't have any idea when they were made, but, just guessing, I'd say they were 1960's vintage. I really didn't have anything against mine, it just wasn't what I needed for my yard. The guy who sold it to me said as much, I just wasn't listening.
Like I said, there were no "safety" features on it, such as blade clurch, etc. One other thing I thought about, was that the drive chain was pretty small--like no. 35 or something.
They are cute to look at. Good luck!
