Hi, I know that this is sort of off topic, but I thought in this forum there would be someone to help me out.

On my dodge minivan, there are certain "flash codes" that apparently tell you whats wrong with the car when you turn the key switch back and forth- and the "service engine soon" light comes on and flashes a code to you. I did this, but how can you find out what this code means?

Thanks in advance. Bob

Bob,

What code is it flashing at you? I can look it up.

The cheapest way is to go to an Auto Zone parts store, where they will hookup a code reader and tell you what the problem is at no charge. You can also buy a repair manual with the codes in it, in the emissions section.
