I've had two, kept one and wish I hadn't sold the 1st. Depending on who you ask, they value close to a 320 in similar condition. There are some past posts here about ring and pinions, cold weather starting and front axles on this and the JD area of this site. Go around the entire tractor and tighten any bolts with a torque wrench. Many work loose with the vibration.

That is a good tractor and I would sure like to get one. Good price, too. The 435 Diesel has a two cylinder "Gemmy" 2-53 Detroit Diesel which is one of the ruggedest and best Diesel engines ever built, and parts should be easily available. Congrats on your purchase!
