Decided to leave the tractor at the bottom of the drive yesterday, took the key out and stashed it behind one of the front tires along with the truck keys, you know for safe keeping. A little later I hopped on the tractor forgeting there was no key in it, pushed in the clutch and yep rolled right back onto the keys, felt a little stupid walking over to the neibors house. One dumb move, two screw up's, I'm a multi tasker, lol.

Yup, not many hills here in FLA but just this weekend I did the same dipstick move.

On Friday evening I was trying to finish planting but did not get done. Parked the tractor and threw the tractor keys in truck jockey box and drove home. Figuring I could use some exercise on Saturday morn I walked to the field to finish planting. No keys, man oh man!! Someone has my keys, maybe my sons have them? Walked down the road to the neighbor and he pull started me. Worked the fields most of the day, parked the rig, walked home, end of an enjoyable day.

Spent a long time Saturday eve looking for keys around the house and in the shop. Dern, still no keys. Where are those dern keys #@%$!!

Nice morning on Sunday so I then repeated same activities complete with walk to the field but called neighbor in advance to ask his assistance. Drove rig home last night.

This morning I jumped in the truck heading to work and while looking for spare can of Copenhagen in jockey box guess what I found? The missing tractor keys!! I never claimed to be the sharpest knife in the drawer :)

See, if a guy dropped the Coppie habit then you might never have found them. Have a dip and feel good about it. See ya ...
