recently watched a show on the discovery channel about UNIMOGs. I think one with a spread of implements could work for my odd jobs. Has anyone owned, used or know anything about them? how about used implements?

I ran one for a few years in UK,this is a systems tractor,in fact one of the first, front and rear linkage, front and rear PTO.We used it for seeding with a front power harrow plus another one on the back plus a tipping hopper behind the cab so we could seed many acres at one fill, used for spraying and fertiliser spreading plus transport, would max out at around 60 mph.Had a cascade gearbox with two splitters plus a direction reverser.A very adaptable machine, will work with most if not all conventional implements. If you get one you must get the ag version not the army surplus and get one with a big diesel, there are plenty on the used market built for agriculture in the 120-300 hp bracket.Mercedes who own Freightliner trucks sell it through that division I believe or you can import one.
