I have a 1952 Ford 8N, I had it tuned up middle of last summer since than it ran Great up untill now.It started to lose power than it just quit like I turned off the key.It would nt even fire. So I check for gas, broken or loose wires and such.I took the Dist.Cap off and slide my jack Knife between the points,Than it started to fire up but quit right away. I haul it all the way up to the barn than the Darn thing started.can any one tell me what the problem could be? Thanks

Sounds like it could do with tuning again. A tune-up/service does not last forever and last summer was a long time ago - you could have put on several hundred hours by now!

could be a number of things may need points again, about once a year thing, or it could be wireing and or a bad switch. Try hot wireing it if it runs its wireing or the switch
