I have a VH4D with zero hours on a professional overhaul, that I would sell for $750. Came from an Owatonna swather. NAPA has the engine book and parts available if you choose to go that route.

I have the same machine. What is wrong with your old engine?? I have had good luck fixing mine, found a good supply of parts, etc...

A vh 4 will replace it and might be easier to find. Problem is going to be finding a tapered crank for the clutch. You might want to consider a more modern engine and modify clutch to crank arrangment. Buddys skidsteer services in Topeka is a good start. let me know if you can't find him on the internet and I will dig up my information on him. He knows a lot about this tractor, has a lot of parts, including engines.

I have to remove the motor in my Bobcat M600 that has a wisconsin VH4D in it. I can't for the life of me get that pulley off the shaft. Does anyone know how to do this? There are two rather small threaded holes on the inside half of the pulley but there doesn't seem to be any set screws or anything in them. Can anyone help?
