Does anyone have a source for three point boom pole plans. I know they look fairly simple to build but I'm looking for at least some basic dimensions.

Don't have any plans, but I'd recommend an "elbow" type with a hydraulic cylinder between the mast and boom..... gives you much more "travel"..... ..

Try

Link

Plan 6191. It's a PDF and may take a while to open depending on your computer and internet provider.

Lots of other plans there also you might find interesting.

I can't put my hands on the web page right now, but there was a nifty unit someone makes & sells for way, way too much money that combined a ball hitch, bale mover, boom pole, & maybe some other stuff. You might not want all the parts, but using 2" reciever tubes, you could build yourself something quite versital.

www tractor by net dot com is a forum like this, & they tend to have a lot of pictures & ideas of such things.

I made one by looking at my back blade and make a hook up like it has but then added a pole to it at a 45 degree angle and makeing a side to side brace and a brace from the middle of the pole to the top link arm. I've lifted cars up with it and never bent any thing yet.
