I have heard of people putting a belt driven smog pump from a car on and using it to supercharge the carburetor inlet with boost. Supposedly works really well with the low compression tractor engines. Dont blow it up.

I guess you know that you can put a "Super H" piston kit in it...has a larger bore, more Cubic Inches..

Ron.

Ron, Super H selves will not fit in a H engine. You would have to bore out the block to make them fit. You can do a few things to increase hp like milling the head to give it more compression. Use a Super H, 300 or 350 head. Put a super H cam in it. IH Firecreator Pistors, which increase the bore to 3 7/16" from 3 3/8". (Super H bore is 3 1/2" and you can increase that with Firecreator Pistons to 3 9/16".)

Well you could get an Allis Chalmers WD or WD45. Or you could get high altitude (high compression) pistons.
