I have an ad on this site. I am offering to give away FREE a Ford 501 mower. I have had 2 people wanting to know my best price so they can send me a cashiers check!

damn, thought I had found a way to get rich and not have to run my shop 12 hours a day to get deeper in debt, you all just ruined my whole day.

I think it is an automated email program. I added an extra . com to my address and instructed everyone to just remove it to use the link,no one except actual people interested in my stuff replied. Grandpa always said thieves are lazy.

I also get a lot of emails where some relative was shot in some country that doesn't even exist. Now they want me to take their $24,000,000 and put it my account and keep 20% for myself. What is their scam in that case? Are they trying to get your account # so they can clean it out? I was curious about that. B/D

I had one from sierra leona that wanted to send me money also, so I supplied him with the head office address here in Canada of the RCMP, did not hear back from him, not long ago, we had a charity doing a collection of old computers to send to the third world countries to help bring them up to speed, wonder if we are shooting ourselves in the foot somewhat by helping out.

They just congregate to this web site for some reason. Most of them are so out of sight that it is just plain funny. Most of the ones I get are some deposed relative to some ousted high official in some backwater country in Africa that is just so happy and impressed that I am such a good fella that they are going to cut me in on a huge percentage of a Godawful amount of money just to invest it for them and take it off their hands. No one has shown up at the gate with a sack full of cash yet, however, and don't ever fall for the old cashier's check and mail us back the change routine. Harley
