Hello, Question..... Could I use a crankshaft from a 420 in an MC? I know the bore is different...but could I just use the 420 rods and standard mc pistons....and keep the block original? Thankyou Michael Solan phone...814 692 8291

A crank from a 40 would work, but would require the rods and rod bearings from a 40 as the 40 had larger rod journals than did the M. I suspect that the 420 crank is longer than the M64T engine block would accept- never tried to make this interchange.
