I recently purchased a Ford tractor that has been painted red, it was originally blue. The man thought that it is a 1970 2110. It has low profile tires, H/L 4+rev, 3CYL gas. I have looked under the hood for a sticker with no success. The only numbers that I have found are C151700 on the Trans, C7NN7006AK under the seat, and C7NN4024G. All of the books that I have found only list 8n, 2k,3K ect. Where can I find the model# or the cross reference to the serial # ?.

C151700 is the tractor serial number. The only info that can be gleaned from that is that the tractor was built in the States sometime in late 1966. The model code should be located on the right front top pad of the trans just behind the starter. It should be next to the serial number and also the build date number. If in fact it is a 2000 series tractor, the model # will look something like 2102?A or 2112?A (? being the PTO type). A unit code # will look something like 6H12B (6 means 1966, H means August[A is Jan., B is Feb., etc.], 12 would be the day, B would be the shift of that day). All three of these numbers should be clustered together on the transmission pad. The 2 C7NN numbers you listed are the trans and rear axle housing casting numbers.

I think the unit code # is actually like the one found on my 2000 series and goes more like this: 1J66B (1 is the day of month, J is the month [A is Jan., B is Feb., etc.], 66 means 1966 and B is the shift). Laymond Lewis in the origional post mixed up the year and day of month otherwise my tractor was built on the 66th day of October? :)
