I have about 10 gal of real old gasoline. Due to the EPA regs I cant dump it on the ground and let it evaporate. I was thinking of mixing 1 gal to 10 for use in my tractor what do you think?

Stan, don't be a tight wad. The 10 gallons of old gas is not worth risking in your tractor. Dispose of it and keep fresh gas in your tractor. I always treat all gas I purchase for welder, riding mower, power washer, etc with Stabil, year round.

hey Stan, go to NAPA and get you a couple cans of Sea Foam and put it in the old stuff and then mix in a little bit of good stuff and you should be able to burn it in anything. I did this with an old forklift a man gave me. I know it had been setting for at least 6 years with half a tank when I got it and that's what I did. It wouldn't run at all with just the old and new mixed, but when I added the Sea Foam it fired right up. It stank like crap til it got rid of the old stuff but it ran. I still don't know what the additive did but it worked. Good luck.

That's what I do with my chain saw gas when it goes stale and smells like varnish. No problems.
