this tractor has a wide front with good rubber,hydralics,belt pulley 6 volt system,lights,paint is not the greatest nor are the rear tires.asking price is 1700 is this way to much or just right.tractor does run pretty well.how big of a plow or disc could i pull with this.it will not be a show tractor but a farm tractor.thanks to all who respond.

Sounds about right. Depending on soil conditions, etc., it will pull 2-3 bottoms and a 10-12' disc without too much problem. A lot of tractor for its' size. You will like the LPTO. If it looks like it has been kept fairly well, I'd go with it.
Not much out there today for under 2 grand.

Check out this site, it should give you all the info you need for your Cockshutt 30. It has a Buda 153 ci engine. Just a tad bigger than a Farmall H, but tested out better in Nebraska than the H. I paid $1000 for mine. I had to replace rear tires, my sheetmetal was very good, and complete. My front is the "Standard" wfe, not the adjustable wide front. Both were optional...
