How many of you don't have tractors? Did you in the past, or maybe do you hope to in the future? Do you just struggle along with somebody else's tractor feeding your habit? I'm lucky enough to have three, probably should not have one of them, the other two are easier to justify.

Well I have 44 acres and 10 tractors, more tractors then I need but if and when I can I'll have a few more at least till I find what I really want. But that may take getting 100 or so more jsut to find the right one, oh well its some thing to do.

Paul;

Good question. I have been on this site for about four years. I always have wanted a John Deere 2 cyd., but I never could justify it with only owning 1/2 acre. So I just hung out here listening to everyone talk about them and learning somethings. 1 and 1/2 years ago I ran across a guy that had several tractors and he pulled two of them (JD G and IH M). It was just about 4 weeks later that I bought my 49 JD A. Now I have a tractor and I have a very good friend in this guy that I met. I love the H&^% out of it. the car sets outside and the A sets inside year round. In the summer I pull. In the winter I tear it down and tinker. BUDD )'';''(

I have the land but I don't do much with it.I farm my wife's garden with a 730 and a 14 foot JD disk! 2 passes. I 've been thinking about trying some dry land milo-just enough to turn my chickens in. I'm retired. mike

Sounds like you have your priorities correct, after all, you can always buy another car. I think I may have gotten a bit carried away, I own an acre and 3/4, currently there are 6 tractors in my shed.

I don't think you got carried away Rusty Farmall-I have a mere 1 1/2 acres and have fifteen and looking for more. You don't have enough until you run out of room to put them. Jack

Used to have 5. sold out,moved south not too far from the Rio Grande. So dont have no tractors no more. With those 5 I would take care of about 30 acres.
