Farmall, McCormick names borught back!!!

Is it just me or does anybody else think there inteligence is being toyed with by Case - IH bringing back these names on their tractors! All they are doing is changing the paint, & decals while they they are not even close to the originals!!!

I thought the same thing too. I was intially dissappointed, but after going to the open house at the local case-ih dealer, I was impressed. The Case-IH factory rep. did side by side comparision's to the kubota compacts- everything on the farmall is bigger... from the 3pt to the axles. And it's made in the US.

Now, I just wish they would have made the Case-IH's JX series the "farmall" series instead. Those look like "real" tractors and are larger in size and HP. But I would only buy it if it was US made!

I guess they will get what they want in the end, the target market was for small acreage compact tractors...I think I will stick with the older Farmalls, they look better!

Case IH has nothing to do with the McCormick tractors. They are built by the Landini company. The Farmall line applies to the 18 to 55 horsepower compact series.
