My 2N's transmission is stuck in neutral. I was wondering if I take off the upper & lower steering housings would that give me access to the shift forks and/or gears so that I might free everything up.

Thanks in advance for your help.

If I remember right you need to take off the shifter plate not the steering parts to get in to that it will also be where you need to go/ do to fix your problem.

I have a 40' Farmall "A" model that occasionally gets hung up in 2nd gear. I have to take the shifter off and manually align the shifter and the transmission gears, both in the neutral position, to get it to work properly again. Maybe yours might be a similar fix?
