I work for the roads dept. in Nebraska, and they support the farming industry and use ethanol and biodiesels, I'm a diesel mechanic, born and raised on the farm. But I have no use for the fuels, since we have some problems with cars vapor locking with ethanol and diesel injection pump problems with biodiesel. I'm not sure what would help the cars, but use some sort of fuel lubricant with the biodiesel, have alot of internal scoring of the delivery valves in injection pumps. One note Caterpillar states in their warranty of the engines fuel system that any source of biodiesel fuel voids the warranty!!

I've been getting 300 gallons of 100% soydiesel for the last 3 years, burning it full strength in 2 tractors in the spring & summer until it's gone. It has given no problems at all. I see lately in the John Deere Furrow magazine that MFA Inc in Bethany Missouri has set up a pump you can get 100% biodiesel there.

Not popular enough. Ky passed a law a couple of years ago that all diesel sold in the state by '05 (I think) had to be B2. So far I still cant find it. I wish we would go to B20 at least (or B50), nationwide but I dont see it happening. How popular over there?
