I just got one of those wheel transplanters cat 2 3pt hitch.

which is the better tractor to pull it with a Ford/nh 1910 with a front end loader attached or IH 656.

I'd have to change the pins to cat 1 for the 1910

I have a 1 unit holland transplanter for tomatoes. I use a Ford 3600 Lo-range 1st gear and it plants a 225ft row of tomatoes in 3 min. slow as it can idle. It would work better to go even slower. But I only plant 2000 plants and it sure makes the job easier

It will fit on either one , the key is to put it on the tractor with the slowest gear. It's hard to do a good job transplanting when travel is too fast. If it's a one row the 1910 will work but if it's a 2 row, you may need to go bigger.
