Does any one know if the SAME Buffalo 130 four wheel drive front axle was used on any other tractor make or model?

A dealer once told me that some model of Hurlimann had the same front axle. Is this true?

Thanks

Crusader is right, this tractor uses Sames own axle and the tractor pre-dates the Hurliman takeover. The 130 will climb up the side of a house,a few sold here in England but a very under-rated tractor.

SAME owns Lamborghini and Hurlimann,so yes they would also have used that axle. Check with pudding,he might know.

Dan, It's been quite a few years since I worked with one of these. I worked at a shop that was the first dealer for SAME in Central Texas. As far as I know and can remember, the only other tractor that used the same front wheel drive axle was either the Bison or the Hercules. Both of which were SAME models. The Bison is a 105 horse and the Hercules is a 160 horse. Hope you have good luck with this tractor. I've seen the Buffalo play with plows that a John Deere 4440 and Allis Chalmers had to gear down to pull. It also used a lot less fuel doing it. I prefer an American made product, but will give credit to this Italian made equipment. The SAME is/was a lot easier to work on when required.
