What is the item, if it could be made, copied or refrabricated, that would produce the most profit and be in the most demand as related to tractors or farm equipment?

Dean, bushhog type rotary cutters, box blades, grader blades, slip scoops, harrows of all types, post hole diggers, cultivators, and middle busters are items that can be copied, and are in demand. You can buy items like gear boxes, drive shafts wholesale, from various sources. alvinnms

First. i dont believe any one part is the answer Second. look at what is not currently being made and sold at parts places. Third i looked into this, problem was how much money can you tie up when you might only sell a few a year (example) case cc maniflods. fourth the manufacturing process was very high in many cases not worth tooling up for this was 20 years ago when people was still using many of these old clunkers.

Depends a lot from brand to brand. I know J.I. Case tractor parts are hard to come by for pre-1960 parts, and certain J.D. parts are hard to come buy (air cleaner parts, flywheels, etc.) at a affordable price. Repro. sheetmetal seems to be hard to come by and expensive as well.

I went to a tractor parts place and wanted an oil cup for a Case 801B. We went out to the racks and found that most of the 801B parts had been scrapped. The JD racks were loaded and I asked the guy if any JD stuff was ever scrapped. "NOPE"
