I am trying to pull a distributor on a 6 cyl
chrysler industrial flathead. I can't budge it or turn it. I soaked it with penatrating oil and whacked it a couple of times with a soft hammer.
Maybe it will come loose tomorrow!

Anyone got a better idea? I hate to use to much force.

SD do you happen to have a air slag hammer or air chisel?? I have good luck with a blunt tool and a air chipping hammer for vibration effect after appling the penetrating oil. Just apply twisting pressure and rattle it lightly around the base. Good luck John
