Well, here we go again! Those animal rights activists are at it again. Latest proposal is they want to ban feeding round bales. They don't think livestock can get a "square" meal out of them. Tee hee..... .....Larry

When I was going to college I dated a city girl for a while. One weekend in midsummer I took her home to meet the parents. She was quite taken by the country side and all. As we were driving past a hay field she enquired as to what the big round things were. I told her that was hay to feed the cattle during the winter. She then asked "Why did they put it out already?"

Get a load of this guy. He's on our Federal Gov't sponsored TV/radio preaching his platform. Our Gov't which is supposed to be also helping our beef farmers. He's started telling Canadians where the beef industry was ravaged by a Mad Cow scare. To eat only grains and vegetables and skip meat one day a week to save the enviroment. The guy is pretty smart and means well but he's spent too long in the lab around chemicals. www.davidsuzuki.org

Yeh, if you fence your fields off into paddocks, the paddocks must be circular in shape - so the stock can find their way ROUND. Tee hee.
Regards, RAB

PS WARNING - they could get much worse than this - there are many corny jokes about feeding livestock in the winter!!
