Does anyone have a source for replacement headlight bulbs for the 40's to 50's model tractors that have the sealed beam headlight that has the metal back and single wire sticking out of it? The bulb is bigger than the 4411(4 1/2" diameter) and smaller than the 5 3/4" diameter sealed beams which are common on later models. These bulbs were used on many different models like Farmall, John Deere, Minneapolis Moline and others. I have already checked with the usually bulb manufacturer's(I work for Wagner)and they don't have them.

Thanks,

Joel

Choices are limited on old clamp lights. Guide was
also AC, a good counterperson, at the right NAPA
store, can get you within a 1/4" on most. You have
to cut and wrap a strip of rubber inner tube on
the lamp, attempt to assemble. These lights can
compromise you, to accept cosmetic lights, since
a failed bulb may be the better appearing fit. This leaves you accepting appearance, over function. You buy more of this clutter, at swap
meets, find surprises inside. I have my boxes of orphan blended lights, they are wishful thinking
parts that don't work, weakened with rust. Next
month,I may find one part, to close one up. Good
luck.
