I have an IH460 Utility LP tractor and recently when I tried to fill tank from nurse tank I had to bleed what seemed to be just compressed air (no lp odor) for about fifteen minutes before it would accept any propane, then all of a sudden the gauge read 50%. Will this "air pressure" force the float on the gauge to stay at zero or was it just stuck? Thanks, doorguy

It was just stuck, or the liquid coming into the tank was dropping on the float keeping it from moving up until there was enough liquid in the tank that the force of the incoming liquid was overcome.
