Help!! Engine will not rev up,Linkage seems ok but motor just runs at idle.Any thoughts Out there? It quit all of a sudden.. Thanks could the governor be low on oil and what oil should I put in it?

Not an oil problem, the governor is lubed by the engine oil.
Sounds like you broke your governor spring. It's inside the governor housing on the right hand side, front of the engine. There is just enough room between it and the fan shroud to get the cover off. Not a hard job. You can get a new spring at any Case/IH dealer, not expensive.
