Have a D-10 Allis. It smokes like a freight train. Checked the compression. 130-140 lbs on all cylinders. Isn't that plenty? If so, where is the oil coming from????Thanks in advance, Scott

Take its cigarettes away and give it a lecture on the dangers of smoking.

Could be several things. Might be a cracked oil ring,or maybe just bad oil seals on your valvles.I've seen bad seals on several allis's that have sat around for a while.

Pulled the valve cover . There were oil seals on only 2 or 3 valves.I sent the head off to have the valve guides replaced and whatever else needed doing.Since I've got the head off, I'm going to go ahead and check the rings. Thanks for the advice. Scott
