We just got through putting in a new short block and bolting everything back together. The engine runs like a swiss watch but a new problem has come up that I can't seem to cure. the power steering has gone haywire. It cycles from stop to stop without anyone at the wheel. We have checked all the conections for leaks and found none. The manual says to use 20w oil which we have done.It also says to cycle from stop to stop to bleed air from the system. no problem the tractor does this by itself with no assistance from me.Does anyone know how to cure this short of an exorcism? All suggestions are appreciated. thanks

The old char-lin steering units would do this if disassembled and put back with the shaft teeth one gear tooth either left or right of the correct tooth.I don't know what system you have but it sounds like the same problem.
