what would be a fair price for a 1952 2000 series tractor that has been kept under a cover? it has a bush hog and bottom plow also. the tractor was running good 2 years ago but has not been cranked since then. any help would be appreciated...

A really nice looking one just sold on ebay for $4200. It's hard to tell from an ebay auction just what the condition really is, but it looked nice.

I'd be skeptical about it as tlak suggests. If it was running so nice, why was it parked and never cranked again?

If it's complete you could probably get your money back selling the parts if you didn't pay over $1200 for it. If they can prove it runs and it has nice extras (p/s, live pto, etc) then it should be worth at least $3000 or maybe more.

Non running $500-2000. Whats wrong with it that it was parked? Does it have the 3 or 4 cylinder, gas or diesel, p/s or not, good/bad tires? I believe for this model it still could be optional live pto.

Are you sure it is a 1952 model? I don't believe they made the thousand series back then. Could it be a 1962 model? If so, here's a site that will tell you all you need to know about them:
