Check to see if current is going to primary wire on coil. If not check your ignition [key] switch they have been known to fail.

Jubilee's were positive ground - the + from coil goes to distributor. Check the insulation where the bolt goes through the distributor housing to make sure it's not going to ground.

I'm assuming your Jubilee is still negative ground. Sometimes they are changed, although I don't know why. If it still is negative ground, then there should be a wire from the switch to the positive terminal on your new coil. The negative terminal should have a wire from it to the post on the distributor. Make sure your new points are set to break at 11 to 15 thousanths. This is about the thickness of a business card or a dollar bill folded in half. Also, make sure they are clean. Even though they are new, they will have a coating on them. Sand lightly with fine sandpaper or emery cloth. It could be your switch, check by turning it on after you wire your coil. With the points closed, open them with your finger and you should see a spark. It won't be big, just a little fire jumping across the break. Make sure your cap and rotor are clean, and it should run. If not drop me a line.

Dan: I have to correct what I wrote earlier about wiring the coil. It has been a long day and I told you some wrong information. If your tractor is a negative ground, the wire from the switch should connect to the negative post on the coil. The positive side of the ciol then connects to the distributor post. A good way to remember this is + - + - + - + You never connect two positives or two negatives together. If your tractor is positive ground, then the switch wire will connect to the positive side of the coil. The negative side will connect to the distributor. (See what I mean, picture a battery with the POSITIVE side grounded. The NEGATIVE wire feeds the POSITIVE side of the coil. The NEGATIVE side of the coil feeds the distributor.)
Sorry about the mix-up. Tell me how it goes.

I don't want to start an argument and I don't know if jubilee's were positive ground but I have always been taught if you have positive ground the positive post on the coil goes to the distributer.

I have a 1955 Ford 640, and it is positive ground, you could very well be positive ground to.
