Yah that is the one thing about any kind of wood heat. You have to be there to keep it going.

I have never heard of anything but regular wood pellets. Could you tell me more about the other pellets you mentioned. Or show me a link.

The one thing I find about this pellet technology is that they are still thinking too small. Why haven't they created a central forced air furnace with a hopper system that only needs to be filled once a month? It doesn't seem like much of a stretch to me.

I bought the cherry pits in Traverse City, MI. while visiting friends. Don't know if they are still available. I only heard about the paper ones but have never seen any, I used to mix 50/50 corn and wood pellets when corn was cheaper than pellets. My stove couldn't handle straight corn. I bought the corn from local farmers.
