Just bought a Farmall B model Culti-vision. How big a plow will this thing reasonably pull? Is there any way to install a three point hitch? Including perhaps a manually operated one with a a hydraulic hand pump? I'm new at this and would appreciate any help you have to offer. Thanks in advance.

Tom in Wichita Falls Texas.

The B will pull 2-12 pull type. You will need to add weights for traction. To put a 3-point on would cost 5-6 hundred or so it would have to be built as there are no 3-points avail for this tractor. Have seen them and they work well if built right.

Gene I always thought that the B was a one-plow tractor pulling something like a 1-16 inch. I have a 2-10 inch plow I want to hook to my B after I get the plow rebuilt. I beleive if Tom does not already have a plow that the 2-12's will be easier to find than a 1-16 or 2-10's. I found my 2-10's at an auction 3 yrs ago I beleive they are somewhat scarce, I found my 1-16's at an auction just this summer after looking for a set for several yrs. How much added weight do you think Tom would have to add to pull the 2-12's? I have a B that I have used for tractor pulling the last few yrs and I told somebody once that I could pull 3-14's with it, until the trip rope was pulled. Will look forward to talking with you later. I have read many of your post over the past yr and a half and think that guys like you and Hugh McKay and many others are a valuable asset to many others out here. Tom
