I posted for a friend, he said it was 3 but I thought it was 4 also. Had it parked in a field and he was gone. Thieves drove over 2 fences to get it loaded. Guess they thought it was easy pickin's.

Tractor theft has become an increasing problem. Apparently, some criminal minds have searched the Internet and found out what tractors are most popular for restoration and which ones have the highest demands for parts. These people have set up "tractor chop-shops" where they will steal a tractor from one area and haul it away as far as they can, where they then part it. The Internet makes it quick and easy to dispose of these hot parts. Seems the smaller, older tractors are favored targets because of the combination of their popularity, demand for parts, and the relative ease of moving and hiding them.

The other problem is that a lot of older equipment is going to Mexico, once it hits the border kiss it goodbye.
